Orostachys

Orostachys is a genus of rosette-forming plants consisting of 13 species. Some species have two types of leaves forming a taller outer ring on each rosette, encircling a short spiraled center. Others resemble Sempervivums. They form a tall cone-shaped flower stem and are monocarpic ie the main plant dies after flowering leaving a ring of offsets.

CULTIVATION TIPS
Summer growers requiring good drainage and plenty of sun. Keep drier during winter.

These strange plants have 2 types of leaves - taller ones on the outside surrounding a spiral of shorter leaves. Tall cone-shaped flower stem covered with creamy white blossoms. Sun/part sun.
