Cotyledon

These mainly shrubby species are native to South Africa through to Arabia. They are varied in appearance but all have tubular flowers with curled tips that are typically coloured orange or coral pink. They flower mostly in summer.

CULTIVATION TIPS
Cotyledons require a free-draining gritty mix and plenty of sun. They are tolerant of cool, frost-free conditions during the winter if kept dry. Some require pruning to maintain an attractive shape. Prone to mealeybugs.
